WELCOME! We thank the Lord God Almighty for answering our prayer requests by
adding more and more new members to our ministry this past week! Let Him send
us the poor in spirit, so we may lead them to Christ! Let Him send us the poor
in food, so that we can feed them!
Hungry
stomachs have no ears! We love you all and encourage you to bring a friend on
Thursdays and Sundays! Amen! Let us worship Our Lord God for all His goodness,
and send a sweet fragrance up to heaven for Him!

DISCUSSION:
Before God, each one of us needs to decide what “kind”
of Christian we are going to be. Yes, in the beginning, we start off as “baby
Christians” and know very little about the laws of the Old Testament vs the
grace of God of the New Testament.
As we grow up though, in the Word of God, we are
responsible for the teachings that we learn. And we are responsible to actually
learn the Word of God, since that is
our Sword of the Spirit, our only offensive weapon against the evil spiritual
forces that we fight.
God orders us to pay 10% of our income, the first and the best 10% of the oils and the vines of the Old Testament, as a
sacrifice to the priests of then. Christ reinforced the intention behind
giving, to give out of cheerfulness, not out of obligation or for others to
see, but for God to know and to cherish us as we strive to please Him. Lord,
bless us in our tithes and offerings, so that we may bless others.
I joke and say that lots of Christians go to church
while watching their watches, to make sure they are “outa there!” in exactly
one hour. I know this because I used to be this way, and so did lots of my
friends. And their parents.
And then church would be over, and you know what?
It was a “Mad Dash” and “Each Car to Defend Itself” in
the silly PARKING LOT just less than 5 minutes after service ended. And it was
un.be.lieve.able to hear horns honking, people screaming at one another, and
cars racing to be the next in line. No one wanted to let the red van back out,
because no one wanted to be the behind a van and be ‘blinded.’ What happened to
God in 5 minutes?
Is God just for the building?
Is God just for an hour?
Is God in your house when all the doors are closed?
Is Christ just there for forgiveness, when we need him?
Or do we have a daily, constant relationship with him to count on?
Don’t you get aggravated when that same friend only
calls you on the phone when she or he needs something from you?
“Oh, it’s Margaret calling,” you think. “She only calls
when she wants something.”
Do you want to be “one of those people” to God? Or do
you want to be “different?”
In this scenario, “different” is really “normal.”
Mature Christians thank God for every day in the morning, thank Him for food at
breakfast, and thank Him and Praise him despite all the storms in life, all day
and all night long. Why?
Because mature Christians KNOW God.
They trust Him. They have a relationship with Him. They
rely on him with an unwavering faith that no one can talk them out of... Christ
really is their Cornerstone, their foundation of spirituality.

To be a good, deserving Christian, one does not follow
a mathematical formula as in 1 + 1 + 1 = 3. What does one do?
One prays incessantly for others, for church leaders,
for other Christians, AND without ceasing AND at the most, one sells everything
and gives to the poor.
P.S. Have you been praying for me? I do need your
prayers:
From the church to a church leader: Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer
was made without ceasing of the church unto God for
him.
As intercession for other Christians: For God is my witness, whom I serve

Do you long to know God more?
Who do you pray for?
When someone is dying of cancer on Facebook, are you
one of those people that simply say, “Praying?” Or do you actually PRAY a
prayer for them in the Comment? Think about it.
These are the fine shades of gray we need to see.
Has Christ turned your darkness into purest white snow?
Do you realize how Jesus paid it all for you and me? Really?
He had YOUR heart and soul in his hand and what did he
do with it? He saved you! He set you free! Free to love Him or not love Him.
THAT’s how much He wants the LOVE to come from YOU. He thinks you are so
beautiful, and He wants you as His Bride.

INVITATION AND RENEWAL PRAYER: If you have not yet said this prayer to
accept Jesus as your Lord and Personal Savior, you can do so now, TO BE BORN
AGAIN:
“Lord, I have not accepted

Holy Communion. It is Holy. We are not to take it if we are sinning, or it is
blasphemy against yourself, and the Lord.

the shedding of all sins, as Christ died and took our place for us on The
Cross. (Drink the wine.)
